On day 7 of ‘Noirvember 2022,’ I deal with ‘The Enforcer (1951)’ starring Humphrey Bogart. A hard boiled Noir with a great story and several twists. The focus in this post is on some shots that follow. And when I write ‘shots’ it has a dual meaning. Enjoy and stay agile to dodge projectiles.
Two killers want to execute a crown witness in a multiple murder case.
A night …
… covered with bullets …
... and shadows.
Shootout between hitmen.
Herman in the mirror left, didn´t see it coming …
… Kaboom! Ferguson´s bullet got him first. Case closed. By the way, Humphrey Bogart also “shot” his fellow actor Bob Steele in ‘The Big Sleep (1946)’ during a similar scene. You can see the this one in my detailed review: https://classicmovieratings.com/the-big-sleep-1946-noirs-pleasures/
